Male red rump aggressive to female

Hi I'm new here from NZ. . I have an outdoor aviary with a male red rump and a fairly new female red rump. The male is very aggressive towards the female and chases her around all the time and is quite nasty. I recently put a breeding box in but this has exacerbated the problem. Any suggestions

I think you need to remove the female so she is not injured or killed- they are obviously not a suitable pair for breeding.
