Male Or Female Finch?

Hello can an expert let me know if this is a male or female finch? Im pretty sure its a female but not 100% sure

I’m sorry I don’t know due to the mutation & my lack of experience, but I think I see the faintest biscuit shading on your finch’s cheeks which makes me think male.

to be honest i think its really hard to tell the gender of some birds you might have to get it tested to find out
