Machi got a buddy!

Like I said, Machi has quieted down and he mostly spends his time chattering to Hiyoko rather than screaming at the jays that have decided to live nearby (in fact Hiyoko's the one being noisy in the morning now, while Machi sits quietly or eats lol)

My jealousy on this one has no bounds!! So far my noisy guy, who also screams at jay, flickers, carolina wrens, running water, crumpling paper... you name it, hasn't quieted down a whit since getting a buddy. Lol! Hiyoko is soooo cute, and I love the name!

Congrats! She's gorgeous! Another bird is always a good thing for a bird even if they don't like each other, as I can testify with my 4! My two linnies are bonded, though, so I have no idea what a single linnie would be like! They contact call each other when they're only across the room from each other!

Hiyoko is adorable! The name is perfect- she really does look like a little chick!
