I love people that let them free flight and have them trained for that.
It must be awesome for them to be allowed to fly with wind under their wings.

Haha yeah, their disproportionately large beaks give them that iconic perpetually dopey dorky smiley goober look that's iconic to the species.
That and their dark, perpetual baby eyes. :xflove: I'd imagine they're among the most spoiled birds and can get away with anything with faces like that. :swoon:

I think "Shower Time" was my favorite part. That is one soggy, happy bird!

What a day that would be to sit on a hill in country side
And fly your birds. They are such a sight to see.
I have watched a few videos, maybe it's just me, but I have always notice that many birds fly counter clock wise from you around the country side.

So amazing. How do you teach them to free fly like that? I would be so scared they wouldn’t come back. But I’m very curious how that’s taught.
First you must have a strong bond to them and then you train them professional in recall training.
Best if you train them as babies.
They fly in circles because it's natural as they will have eye contact with you.
But before all this you chose a soecie that suits for this. Bigger macaws are great for this. Then you chose the right individual, not all birds can free flight and be trusted.

When I saw my first free flight video it was with a girl from Australia and she free flight a BG macaw. On her shoulder she had a conure in a harness. For a reason.
That video tell's that this is not for everyone if you will keep them safe.
Even if you have the coolest best trained little birds, it will always be dangerous to free flight consider all predator bird's.

I have never own a bird that is good material for free flight. So I enjoy others videos and continue wearing harness on mine.
