Macaw "hugging"?

Yesterday I groomed a B&G and afterwards I was playing with him (his owner left him at the shop and I finished clipping his nails and wings pretty quickly so I had extra time lol) and he kinda started "hugging" me with his wings, like spreading them and wrapping them around me sort of....is this a typical macaw behavior? I've know many macaws but none of them have done this. It was cute anyways.

BTW I'm grooming a lot more birds out of the shop. Today I did a lovely electus =)

The wing wrap thing is how Kiwi came home with me. And Delilah <gw> did the same thing her first night here...and has done it a few times since
