Here's our Kwak the Scarlet at 3 weeks and today at 4 months.

Kwak is sooo cute and I LOVE his name!!! I love the 3week old baby pic. Dont you just love them at that age? Did you raise him from that early baby age?


I'll have to post a pic of Mera here, she is my baby scarlet macaw, she is going to be 11 weeks young tomorrow

He's actually named because it was one of the first sounds he made and it's the name of one of my favorite Belgian beers. We got him at 3 weeks. I know we shouldn't have bought a bird that young, but I didn't know any better at the time and he was so scary ugly/cute I couldn't resist. My husband loves him too, but at the time he was horrified that we were taking possession of something that looked like a fragile featherless dinosaur. How long have you had Mera?

My eyes were playing tricks on me with Kwak's photo. I did not see his eye at first, and I thought his nostril was his eye...I was thinking wow what is wrong with that baby! I am so sorry Kwak!!!

Ive had Mera 2 weeks now and I love it She is now 11 weeks old today

His best buddy is Casco-African Gray just few months younger.

Aww...such a cutie too. Mr. Jeepers & Jada are Red Legged Honeycreepers. They are sexually dimorphic{visually different} Thank you so much for the nice compliment.
