Am I remembering this right? Is there some way of parent sex linking a Lutino so you can tell if it is male or female?

I know with cockatiels only males can be split lutino and you only need that one gene to create lutino offspring. If the female (moher) is not a visual lutino, all lutino babies will be female.

I am not sure if this is the same with lovies though?

if the dad is the lutino all lutino babies are female even if he's just split

Mom can NOT be split to lutino it is sex linked- If Both parents carry the gene then the lutino babies can be male or female

I have 2 different males that give me all lutino females :) one is Visual Lutino the other is split to Lutino

Dang, I was thinking maybe I could find Trinket a male buddy without going through the hassle of DNAing.
