Great pics! Tame rays are like puppies -- the way they follow you around for food!

I love the Lowry Park zoo.:dance4:
They have a koala there too. His place there is airconditioned.:p
The budgie aviary is great..I will post some pictures myself.

You can feed all kinds of animals there. The budgies, the stingrays, the lorikeets. The best thing is that you can get close to the animals even if you don't buy the food yourself. In some zoos you have to pay extra to pet the stingrays. In Tampa that is included with admission.
If you live in the area, the zoo pass is the best deal. You can go with children just to enjoy the waterpark features. In September, the zoo pass can be used free at the Aquarium.:)

I fed the giraffes last time..and of course, all the birds.

I will be there (Lowry Park Zoo) as a representaitve of my Rescue (FL Parrot Rescue) on 4/11 if anyone can come!!! I am hoping that we can educate folks on the plight of the birds an how they are constantly re-homed because of 'new husband/wife' or 'new baby' or whatever.

Those of you involved in rescue (be it cat/dog/bird) know what I am talking about. You have these fabulous animals with nothing wrong with them who are given up because it is inconvenient for people to keep them or whatever...please re-home, adopt and help keep these animals from euthanasia or sometimes a fate worse than death (esp. with birds). As a rescue volunteer, some of the things I have seen have been so horrific that I question the human race.

Please adopt/re-home and don't support breeders. I love you all and don't want to cause any angst but if you saw what I see every day, you'd know why I say it.

Blessings to all,
