Lovie's lef is hurt again

Good day
I posted a few months ago a question about the situation I faced with my baby P when he had his left leg broken at the tibia, and we had it splinted for a while. He improved then and regained his usual movement, but with mild pain though.
Today morning I let baby P have a play time with his friends at a very big cage that my brother built for his lovesbirds. When I came to pick him up, I noted a wound over his left leg and a stain of blood, however, he was totally fine and was able to move his leg.
Just an hour ago, I noted him retracting his leg to his body, limping and unable to perch.
He really looks in pain.
I believe one of the birds bit him, and afraid at the same time that his leg is broken.
I'm so frustrated now cause again the Vet is only available tomorrow and I don't want to experience the distress i had when baby P's leg was broken.

Do you think the bite could result in such a pain?

Is that area swollen on the bottom of his foot? A bite can definitely hurt. I'll tag some other people

I believe yes, but I'm not quite sure as he is not letting me examine him properly
I noticed that he doesn't want to put his leg on the ground when he walks

Going off of this, I would try to get him to the vet as soon as possible. Just in case it is broken or pain meds are needed.

Going to take him to the vet tomorrow as the clinic is close today
I hope it is not a fracture, he already suffered from it already 3 months ago

Poor bub! It's so hard to know from here... Bites can definitely be super painful... Some birds have lost toes due to bites! I'm glad you are getting him to the vet

Hopefully it's not broken or fractured since he can retract it, bites can be painful, glad your getting him to the vet.

Baby P improved dramatically the day following his injury
Luckily, no broken bones anymore
Seemingly the bite wound was the one causing him all the pain
He is safe, pain free and happy now.
