What is she doing when making this sound? Looking outside, replying to an outdoor noise, playing with something in particular?

Sounds very much like when my boy calls to the dishwasher for the few seconds it is a tad noisy or one of my sliding doors that is really noisy.

Sounds very much like when my boy calls to the dishwasher for the few seconds it is a tad noisy or one of my sliding doors that is really noisy.

she just sits there. not looking at anything in particular usually, and this is why it confuses me so much. ive seen her when shes afraid, yk, feathers tight layed down, extended head, frantic movements, etc. but shes not doing this, and i cant figure out exactly why she starts it, its random. sometimes i can tell, like if i drop smth or like i said previously when my phone is loud suddenly. but hell she does it if i sit down, turn on a light or whatever little mundane thing. all things that she's been used to for a long time, its not like shes never seen me do things before.
