I've been trying to find a book on all species of parrots with information on diet, endangered list, what their habits are ect. The only book I have is Parrots of the world by Joseph Forshaw
illustrated by Frank Knight. The illustrations are good but would love more information on each parrot and actual pictures. Thanks Carol

I don't know that such a book exists, sadly! Parrots of the World is the only one I knew of

I wonder how many of us have this book. Mine from 1977 is illustrated by a different person. I have a little bite in the corner of course.

I LOVE the William T Cooper paintings. I have 3 in my hallway representing pyrrhura conures, and mini macaws. I need a Jardine's one ;) I don't like the Quaker one or I'd that too

Out of curiosity I looked on Amazon and my book version is available, conditions range, but you could message someone and find out if that page is nice. I'm tempted to just pop out your page and send it, but it's just too sentimental for me. I hardly keep anything but I have had that on my bookshelf for more than 40 years.

Aww I appreciate the thought but I hope you always keep the book in tact! I know they did prints of a lot of them so I'm sure I can track it down someday! :)

@Mizzely Are your pictures from a book or custom made?

That's a shame, they're beautiful. I'm always looking for parrot books and I can't believe how limited they are.
