@JLcribber rudy is getting dangerously close to the zinc hardware so I’ll have to retire this unless you want to replace the zinc perches with ss hardware perches. Same size ss hardware so that the holes don’t need to be enlarged. Thanks

They don’t make SS double threaded bolts. That’s why they aren’t exposed.
There’s only bark missing? That’s to be expected? He’s not going the shred the wood.

The wood comes from a crab apple tree from a yard across town. Nothing has ever been sprayed in that yard (it’s a jungle). The cut tree was power washed at the local car wash and set out to dry. Once the pieces were cut I wash them again in the sink with dish soap and a wire brush. That’s why they’re so clean.
