All that matters is that it works. Now you have to try to keep your birds from using them as baths!
haha, they are too small to fit into. So far no one has tried to drink from them thankfully -- the water gets dirty very quickly and it's a pain to lift the cages to change it everyday.

exactly what I thought
would a wet vac be an idea to change the water so you wouldn't have to lift cages? that would be hard to do so many times.

i already have a cute 2.5 gal wet dry shopvac! The foam sleeve was very dusty so i'm washing it (soaking right now). Excited to try it! thanks so much for the idea, Debbie!

I got the DE stuff in the mail the other day and am going to laying that down this weekend and it is bird safe. I would use this but I have back issues and lifting Gracie's flight cage just isn't going to happen for me.
