Live plants in the cage

Hello I am a new mom to a cockatiel and a conur I was wondering if I could put live plants in their cages and if so which would be the best to use?

If you are going to use plants, remember that the soil can house aspergillosis so you will need to block all access to soil. Maybe with large stones?

Be sure the plant you choose is non-toxic to birds and has not had any pesticides used on it.
