Things are fine down my way. I have my back to Belle as I type and she is calling me (2 feet away from me) to turn around and look at her.

I just found out the grower for Lychees is about a 20 min. drive from the house. I'm going to get a bunch for the mousers. I can also freeze them and have them for when they are out of season.

And I'm also looking into finding some Paw Paw: integration acres The season is coming up soon. I'll order some of the frozen to try on them to see how well they like it.

Sounds great. let me know how they like it. My latest papaya is a dud, dry and not too orange. They refuse to touch it. So the slave is off to Publix in search of a better one soon.

What picky Mousers! Try a fruit stand or produce market. Many times their papaya is riper...and you may find other interesting goodies for them. There is a produce market next to the bird store where I get their pellets. It makes it convenient.

Oh no, it was really awful. The first one I have had that dry and colorless. My papaya checker was at the store!{the produce manager} If he is there, I pick a couple and have him check which one I can use today! He was spot on as usual. Bright deep orange and juicy!!I got some carrot muffins and they all had a snip.
