Little bugs in cage

My 2 Birds, a Budgie and a Cockatiel stay on my desk somewhere up. I will attach a photo. The problem I found is that I found some small bugs in both cages, well better said, in the cockatiel cage and on the "pampers" of the cage of the budgie. After I washed both cages, I cleaned them good, after 2 days I found these bugs again in the cockatiel cage but not in the budgie cage. It's the first time I found these bugs and I have them for like 3-4 months. The place is not near a window or water place or something.

Picture if the small bugs or a better description may be helpful. I’m not quite sure what the part of the budgie cage you are referring to is and the bugs could literally be any sort of bug. More description of them may give us a better idea of how best to help you.

I am guessing they may be mites of some sort but I am not really sure with the description given. @finchly

I just had an eye check up on Thursday... I can't see any bugs in that photo.

Good to hear Andrea - I am getting real uncomfortable checking pics for little or finer details..... I need new glasses and am putting it off but I fear I really should not do that for much longer lol.

If you have mites, treat the room/area and cage and all nests or bedding. Also treat the birds.

Best products are SCATT for on the bird
Avian Insect Liquidator room spray
And/or Diatomaceous EArth powder sprinkled around room cages etc.

If you cant get those where you live, look them up and find something with the exact same ingredients.
