Hard to believe we are already entering the winter holidays soon! I wanted to be sure everyone knew some key dates and information!


Christmas Ordering Deadline: December 10th

If your order is intended for Christmas, get it in by December 10th! This gives me time to make your order and get it to the post office. If it is placed after December 10th, I cannot guarantee it will be in the hands of the post office by their shipping deadline (December 18th).

Holiday Gift Wrapping

I am still offering holiday packaging for gift orders! Simply let me know in the order comments that it is a gift (and a note to your giftee if you like!) and I will include packaging to make it feel more festive while still protecting your items. This may include gift bags and/or tissue paper, gift themed shipping tape, and a handwritten card to your recipient!

Winter Break

My break this year will run from December 20th, 2024 to January 3rd, 2025. Any orders received during this time will not be processed or shipped out until after they have been completed after the new year. Bongo Boxes will still be completed, but there may be shipping delays as I will be spending time with family and will not be working every day. You can also choose to set any Bongo Boxes that will bill during this time to before or after the break if you want more control!

EU Update

After December 1st, I will not be able to ship to the EU. This is due to some regulatory changes that make it difficult and expensive for me to comply with.


Small Business Saturday Sale!

Small Business Saturday through Cyber Monday (November 30th through December 2nd) the store will be on a 10% discount!



Canada Post Strike: effective today (November 29th) I am unable to ship to Canada until further notice!

As far as I'm aware, no, since the UK did the whole Brexit thing

This is all because of the new GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) that states I must have an EU-based “economic operator” as a “responsible person” in order to place products on the EU market. Unfortunately, these services cost more per year than the combined total of orders I get from the EU in 5 years. So it just doesn't pay out for me to jump through the hoops they want me to clear.

The GPSR does not apply to products sold in England, Wales, and Scotland. GPSR DOES however apply to products sold in Northern Ireland, so I wouldn't be able to ship to there either.

Has the deadline of the last EU shipping moved forward or am I confused? I don't know but I really thought 13th december was the last shipping date to the EU.

Sort of. I did say in my last update on the forum that I would be starting this process in December. This is just expanding on that with more definite dates.

December 13th is the official deadline to remove my products from the EU market as set by the law, but it's unclear if I ship something out before then but its still in transit if I could potentially be considered in violation and face a fine.

Since it usually takes me about a week to get an order out and another 7-10 days average for the package to get to it's destination, I'm trying to cover my butt just in case. This is all new to me and I'm sure since it's all new to them too that the risk is minimal, but this is also the busiest time of year for me in every aspect of my life, and adding trying to research all of this and then also to go through and manually remove 27 countries from my shipping profiles in the middle of all of it is frankly exhausting
