Realistically at the end of the day it probably evens out because I have to pay fees for my website too.

However I am terrible about updating Etsy so I have maybe half of what is on my website listed there. I also don't have any of the clearance stuff on Etsy at all. I have a lot more flexibility with coupons and deals on my site as well.

The prices on Etsy have to be higher to allow me to afford the free shipping over $35 bullies me into, and honestly at some tipping point (depending on distance and package weight), paying actual shipping vs getting free shipping is actually cheaper.

All this to say that it really doesn't matter to me which you do! For the customer though, my personal website is usually a better deal unless you have a small, heavy order going across the country.

UK is the exception because I can't personally ship things there under a certain threshold due to VAT stuff. For small orders, Etsy is the best option. For larger orders over the £176 amount, my website will usually end up cheaper.

Ok will let you know when I’ve saved some pennies meant to have a pay rise in Jan/feb I said to manger today I am lowest paid senior in that places probably actually lowest paid person in that place to be fair at £12:40 but I actually don’t do it for money or I would slip buggers in McDonald’s for more
So hopefully if I get a good pay rise I can hide it from hubby and order
