Beautiful pix but I have a question. Is the hibiscus still in one piece? ;)

It was just brought in because it got very cold here. She won't touch this one. The Amazons? If it was in their room they would leave sticks!

All parts of hibiscus are not okay for birds. They are not toxic plants. My Amazons will tear one up if they had that in their room. They love the leaves!

I know I used to have a hibiscus in IL and it had to come in at the end of summer beginning of fall depending on how soon and how cold it got.
The crazy thing was it didn't flower all summer. I got flowers in October. I did re-pot it though. I am not sure if that caused the lack of flowers. But it is covered in buds now. I got it 3 years ago it was tiny.

Hmmmm. I wonder what flower it was. I'll think on this
My last reply I meant to say all hibiscus are NON TOXIC to birds including the flowers. Flowers are very nutritious for them.
