... especially when you've just had a shower! Ollie adores showers. When I first gave him a home 5 years ago, he wasn't so fond of them. But spraying up into the air and letting the fine mist fall back down onto him eventually won him over. Now I can spray him directly. He would love a shower every day if he could!

Awwww thanks! I LOVE this bird! It was such hard work gaining his trust but I got repaid a thousand fold! This was about half an hour after his shower and he kept raising his wings and fooling about... so I just had to get the camera out.

My OWA loves either a spray bath outside in the aviary or a shower inside. She wants to get so wet I don't like to do it on her cage because everything around gets soaked by the time she's had enough. Happily in the winter she will let me use the blow dryer gently.

I wish I could spray Ollie elsewhere, but he only likes being sprayed inside his cage... and he likes to get wet too! Yep you can imagine the amount of water everywhere (at least 2 bottles full) which is why I don't have time to give him a daily shower.

@Fuzzy I have a little t stand from pvc that I sit in the shower floor. I put bird on it and sit on the floor next to them, then mist away.

Maybe they're okay with that because the floor is flat to the shower?
