TASC is holding their holiday bird expo December 2 and 3, 2016.

I have received an email of the schedule but want to draw attention to this, Dr. Susan Orosz will speak on caring for senior birds on Saturday at 9:45 to 10:30.

Friday expo hours are 12 noon to 7 pm

Saturday 9 am to 3 pm

Speakers will be:
Barbara Heidenreich,Dr. O., Jason Crean, Elise Franchi, Dr. Sakas, Dr. Efstathion, Patricia Sund, Jamie Whittaker and Dr. Ness.

and of course, shopping.....

Always new info crammed into my brain.

Best to ask the younger attendee how it went though.

I'm now exercising my zon's. Dr. O said that flying is good for them and mine are clipped. I carry them on their t perch to hallway, lift them high, bring it down slow to about the ground with their wings flapping. (Glad no one sees me, I'm making weird noises to get them into it). I'm only doing it three times. My guys are old too. Then I get them to step off and walk back to living room following me.

So far it only ticked Secret off the second day. She flared and tried to charge me when she stepped off.

If I ever get days to be normal again, I'll pull notes from NC conference. I have to admit of all training I've attended, that weekend retreat of Phoenix Landing was the best. It's every two years and is on my radar now, 2018 I'm on it!!!!

One other thing..... the sinus system in birds is QUITE complex. I saw diagrams and wow, intricate and twisted beyond belief. That's why it is so imperative to get that treated asap. Birds have no way to get that yucky stuff out.

I am making a follow up for Gracie for her ear. She still has a little tuft feather sticking out. I know it looks cute but I know she needs to get looked at. I wish i lived back east so I could go to these but I don't

You know, I bet there are conferences out there.... you just have to find them. After Christmas I'll try looking for some for you.
