I was doing some yardwork yesterday and flushed out two scorpions with babies on their backs.

Oh no! That's so many levels of not ok! They are cool from a distance but I certainly wouldn't want them in my house or yard.

Well, that would work, except we live in an RV and this is an RV Park. Was rearranging my wood shop shed today and flushed out 4 more! Yuk!

Ugh! No no no! I completely understand they have a right to live and clearly it wasn't being used for awhile so nature reclaimed it but still no thanks for them as neighbors.

I have to admit that the sight of them transporting their babies is pretty darn cute. I may be falling (at a distance!) for scorpions. This happens a lot. My twin jokes about Hagrid bytimes...

I tend to fall for almost every creature I encounter...not the scorpions, though. Killed another 4-5 yesterday.

We've only been in Southern New Mexico for four months. I would have to say this park has an infestation of scorpions.
