Kristy ~ How are your toos?

I've been really wondering ... how is your new guy? Did he ever come around? Or are you still the even entity? Please catch me up

Dana I have three BE2s now.

My sweet Coco boy still is fearful of me. But any stranger that comes into the house he loves. That is his pattern, same with the person who had him before. Who ever loves him the most ~ he is scared of.
Solo is Solo and is growing up into a very handsome and smart Too. I adore him but he is sooo clingy somedays I want to scream.

Sadly for Solo a stronger and faster version of him moved in with us this past spring. He was a breeder bird that was too rough with the girls so they wanted to find a new home for him. He is fearful of hands but he is a great bird, I honestly have not decided if having him is making my house a bit too crazy. 3 male toos, 2 of them are fully flighted and they zoom all around and dog fight. It is great fun to see as they don't collide but they hate each other and they both desprately want my attention.

So my life with Toos continues and I feel good I took in the breeder boy who never even had a name before and now he is flying to me and says "hi".

What is in store I am not sure but Solo and Coco stay.

That's gr8 ... Solo sounds well adjusted and jealous. That may pass.
Coco sounds happy ... you know, if you love them and they are happy, that's all that's important. Although, I know how it can hurt your feelings not to feel loved by them - it's certainly a human thing. We experience it too.

I've experienced a lot of 2's ... but not BE2's! Maybe I'll get the chance to visit you one day! I bet they are a lot of fun ... I know mine always are (unless of course their screaming)

Gosh I love BE2s but they are such the handful. We got the Amazon and everyone in the family is kind of like "okay, when is he going to...fill in the blank... like Pearl". And I just say no bird is like Pearl (BE2)

How fun to have three of them around. I think I must have missed the third guy you brought in but I don't know how because I've always been so interested in your guys. Maybe I'm just forgetful. Look forward to lots more stories!!!

I have one Too and she keeps me on my toes, though I think she is a lot calmer than your guys are...she is a little lady most of the time!

I think you are underestimating cockatoos there John. My cockatoo equals all the other birds in my house. At least they can on occasion entertain themselves alone without getting into trouble, lol.

I think your names for you fids are very fun, short, simple, and perfect for a Bird. Long names sometimes arent the best to remember (for the bird and sometimes the people) and they get shortened anyway.
