Give him Peanut Butter. It helps to move objects through their system so he can poo it out!

Someone will be along soon with more advice. Keep calm! :hug8:

If I were you, I would call a vet. 3mm is pretty small. It could just come right out in the poop. Just checked my ruler. I would go ahead and call a vet. Peanut butter sounds like a good idea. Also, if it were my bird, I would try a few drops of olive oil in a syringe or just on your finger. I give this to my lovebirds when they get ready to pass an egg and it helps.

if not ss, it would probably be titanium. Is the ball darker in color like the one in the pic?

Here's hoping you find that little ball on the floor or under the bed real soon. A vet will give you the best advice.
I would still lube that little digestive tract up right now. Got a syringe and some olive oil? Maybe 5 or 6 drops.

It wont leech anything into his system as its passing through!!
If you aren’t 100% that it is SS, I would be worried, especially if it is something that could possibly leech through his system. I would have him checked out.

Are you sure he swallowed it? We thought one of our birds swallowed a diamond (yikes) and she (lovebird) dropped it out of the little husk thing in the bottom of her beak.

IF he did actually swallow it-the PB will help:hug8:I would do a real good search for it on the floor or wherever He was when it disappeared.Praying that You find it-or if not, that he passes it with no problem:hug8:

I would bet it's ss. I looked around and couldn't find anything bad about titanium, but I couldn't really find anything about it. It is used in some medical equipment which is a good sign. :)
If you have a flashlight, I wonder if it would reflect off the ball and make it stand out if he did indeed drop it. :fingerscrossed:

Gosh I have always been sooo scared of this happening as Prudence and Peaches both have a huge liking for earings and rings. Peaches popped a stone right out my setting once!!! Luckily it went flying at the same time. I have my fingers crossed you find the ball, or he passes it. If you do go to the vet, they will probably do an xray so they can see where the ball is, or if its there at all.

Keep us posted!

I thought Truely ate the back of my earring and we took her in for a xray, it showed that she didn't eat it, but I never did find it. Let us know how he's doing today.
