Kitty litter,
Is it an issue if its sprayed down a bit to keep dust from flying yet still effective in absorbing droppings? I would need to remove my birds when cleaning to keep them from dust. The bottom grate would keep the birds from eating it.
Has anyone tried this? I did see the comment about walnut litter further down on the posts but wanted to check.

Ive read where a couple of people ise it and love it. I have purifiers to assist woth bird dust and dander, hoping it will help with kitty litter.

Your thoughts appreciated.

Kitty litter is only for cats. It is not suited for birds at all. Could harbor mold which is dangerous to birds. Most of us use newspaper. You can layer it so you just remove top layer when soiled.
