Kinked/curved feathers in House Sparrow

Hello all! I've yet to introduce myself which I shall do in depth in an intro thread, but I'm Mahcuilcoatl, or if it's easier, Etzli!
I had a concern regarding a house sparrow, whom I've named Birdgang Amadeus Mozart, and I can't seem to find anything anywhere on this issue with his kinked/curved feathers unfortunately, as I have when searching for any resources for house sparrows since they aren't common pets, so I thought I'd try to post here in case anyone has insight!

I rescued Birdgang Amadeus Mozart at a week old (he's 7 months old now) and no shelter would take him so I took him in since it's legal to keep him, and gave him a diet of wet dog food temporarily before switching to more bird suited food. Even though he was on dog food I made sure he was getting the proper nutrition and he has always had a decent appetite. But despite that, he always gets curved/kinked feathers after a while, even when he got his first set. They don't grow in crooked either, they just get that way after a while. Bathing helps for a little while but then they curve/kink again. It happened a lot more when he was molting, but he isn't molting right now so I have no clue if I should be concerned. He is having normal bowel movements and normal looking stool, he preens daily, bathes too, and his behavior is perfectly normal.

Is this just wear and tear? He flies normally and I make sure his food is meeting his nutritional requirements as well. Could it also be malnutrition as a chick? He was kicked out from his nest in a building or street lamp but had no injuries, but usually sparrows kick out weak young or chicks that have genetic defects. I'm completely stumped!

Thank you so much for any help! Have a wonderful day/evening!

Do you have any pictures of the curving feathers?

I just took a couple (poor quality but even amongst the pixels it can be seen, and I couldn't take better ones as he was not content with being on camera), but there is one more feather that can't be seen on his other wing that is curved downwards, just under his tail. All of his other feathers are fine though and he flies great besides being just a bit noisy due to the kinked/curved feathers, and he also seems occasionally irritated about them being messy and will try to preen them back into place.
