Thinking of ordering this.
If anyone has one, please let me know what your think.
Not the stainless one either.
How are the welds?
Chaos has broken multiple welds on his old California King cage.
How does this new one hold up?
Thanks

I have one of those for Oscar (Military), and it's as good as new (but he's rarely in or on it, so YMMV).

I have three other King's cages and the paint and welds on each are also doing very well (against Conure and Severe beaks).

I will add that ordering directly from King's is a pain in the butt if you're accustomed to Amazon Prime (or any modern ecommerce experience).

My last order required a bank transfer, and more effort with a freight shipping company than I would have liked.

Oh, if you get it, let me know please what you think. I've been looking for a new cage for Elvis but have had trouble finding the size I want with 1" bar spacing. I see that has 1" spacing.

Will do. The King's website is the only place I see anything of this size still in stock.
I was checking them all out. It's hard to know what will hold up to a big beak.

Looking at this one too. Bars are 6mm, which is larger than the King's at 5mm.
It also says this company is based out of PGH, PA.

Val was in one and or Rio the B&G.
There were no issues.
Val never tried to escape or get rough with the cage but Rio still does and it holds up perfectly fine.
Rio is considerably smaller than Val though.

@macawpower58 I believe that the Centurion is the cage that Sarah uses and swears by. Get in touch with her - I think she can get you a special deal on one.

I'm not entirely convinced on how durable the powder coat is, but I only have the one I bought brand new. The rest are used so who knows how many/what kind of birds they housed before mine. The powder coat is nearly worn down to bare metal on the King's Cage I bought a four years ago. The amazon it housed liked to grab and grind the bars and beak wipe and I started to see the damage after about two years of use. And some of the powder cracked along the wire so now there's some rust creeping. The used cage my military macaw is in otoh doesn't show the same kind of wear on the bars even though she likes to grab and grind like the 'zon does. One other cage has paint missing in an odd spot.

Chaos is now in an 18 year old California king cage, bars are very thick, powder coating is still great.
Problem is he breaks welds. Get them rewelded, he breaks the welds next to the fixed ones.
I'm hoping a bit more space will help with his love of popping welds.
His cage still looks great (except for quick links locking bars in place) and will go to Sweden (Goffin).
Hoping over the years cages have been built better, not worse.

One of the cages has popped welds where the bars were welded to the struts in the middle of the paenls, but I don't know how it happened. It's also missing two bars in the small space between the two feeder doors.

I've heard nothing but good things about them, but I've been disappointed in the one I bought new. It hasn't held up as well as the others I have.

Shaylor has chipped off a fair amount of the powdered coating. The center divider area which we'd removed becomes a catch all for poop, food and feathers. It's a bit of a pain to clean, too.
The plus? It's a nice roomy cage for macaws.

Well, I bought the Natural Inspirations 64x32 double cage with 1 inch spacing and bars of 6mm (or so the website says).
Truthfully, it's a big roomy cage that Chaos would love, but it's much lighter weight and the bars are much thinner than the old Kings he's in now. I'm not sure these bars will hold up to him. :(
I did ask pointedly if this was a centurion cage, and the owner of Natural Inspiration said yes when I picked it up yesterday. Hopefully the bars having closer cross bars will make them less easy to break, but I'm not impressed. :(
One of the bar welds is already broke, and one of the doors has even thinner bars than the rest of the cage.
I fear this may end up a cage for my smaller birds.
I'll place it next to Chaos's current cage and allow him to slowly use it as I watch how it holds up before making a permanent decision on it's strength.

But taking it back would be such a pain. :(
I had to find a ride to pick it up, my vehicle was not large enough, the shipping if shipped would have been $399!
And repacking it? A nightmare.
I may let her know, but I'm guessing I'm stuck with it.
I've emailed her this photo, let me see what she suggests.
