How much kelp can i give per kg of bird in a serving . I get dried organic here in ireland. Then soak it. Wash it under tap a little then cut into small 3mm by 3mm size peaces and stir into wet pellets 2 mornings a week. Its messy but they love it and its easy to add stuff to it. B& G macaw and a senegal. Rainbow lorikeet gets a little also. Struggling to find information on not powders kelp servings. The cokoured chickens eat well and now so does the bird daddy.
Cousins 3 year old was here a few days ago. My mam : whats that upstairs
Child: a big chicken ...... in a trap ⏸⏸

I'm not sure to be honest! I know too much can cause hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism so I'd be concerned about overdoing it myself!

When my large birds were iodine deficient, our avian specialist had them on 2.5 ml of rehydrated kelp mixed with their chop, once a week. And that was for birds that were deficient per blood lab draws.
I do not think I would give even close to that dose to a healthy bird not deficient.
