And those Patchy pics are adorable, he looks like such a sweetie. There's actually a 8-year old male Dusky at a rescue a few hours away that I've got my eye on now that you've introduced us to your little man. I probably will not adopt any birds for a bit as we are already a bit swamped with the 4 special needs ones we have now. But still...

Emma we need to get you one. There's so many in my area. How easy is it to ship birds to the UK?

I get you! I had to walk away from one recently. She had my heart but Patches already feels like a full time job as is and our apt is pretty small

Whenever he stands like this, it reminds me of those Christopher Columbus statues... looking out into the sea... searching for the Americas...

He looks very majestic on the photo!

He also reminds me a bit of Kapitein Koek (Captain Cookie), with his pose, a parrot that was the mascot of a line of 'ontbijtkoek' sold years ago in the Netherlands.

Awful cute! They do tend to be a favorite among customers. Rather interesting way of chewing there, top to bottom? Should you spin it before he hits the bolt in the middle for 360 satisfaction?

I appreciate the politeness. We thought the same thing and voiced our thoughts to him less politely :rofl:

Wonderful suggestion, I'll turn it now so it lasts a little longer.

Patches is very intelligent in some ways but then when it comes to playing with toys I feel like he does the exact opposite of what you would expect.

He also has a balsa and sola addiction... if it is easily shreddable he will shred it.

Probably my cutest meal yet: Mini potato dumplings with mashed sweet potato, cranberry, and some boiled green beans.

Patchy DEVOURED the dumplings just like his mama. We were definetly destined for each other. :rofl:
