There's actually a 8-year old male Dusky at a rescue a few hours away that I've got my eye on now that you've introduced us to your little man. I probably will not adopt any birds for a bit as we are already a bit swamped with the 4 special needs ones we have now. But still...

I get you! I had to walk away from one recently. She had my heart but Patches already feels like a full time job as is and our apt is pretty small

I know British Airways allows for pet birds in the cabin... maybe a vacation for me to the UK with a new dusky conure for you is warranted

He also reminds me a bit of Kapitein Koek (Captain Cookie), with his pose, a parrot that was the mascot of a line of 'ontbijtkoek' sold years ago in the Netherlands.
