Bird store near me in South Florida recently robbed of many birds. It’s a heartbreaker.

Be suspicious of ANY ads you see with birds for sale, and report to the police if something doesn’t seem kosher!

im in northwest florida, and found a female parakeet abt 5-6 months ago, do you think she could be from there? (its the bird i have named bluberry)

I doubt these thieves would take a budgie. I can only imagine the stress these birds are going through.

I doubt these thieves would take a budgie.
If a hole was cut in the ceiling, any bird could have escaped. Owner said some birds were flying around when he arrived.
I hope they receovered some of the birds. Still very sad :(

If you're concerned you can always reach out to the pet shop. If your bird has a band, they may know if it's one of their lost ones.
Other than that, I'm not sure what you can do.
Many budgies look similar and it might be hard to verify just from description.
