My little earless hammie Fray is not doing so well. He has always been very picky about eating. The vet felt that he might have other internal abnormalities that were causing him to be a little off. I usually wake him up at night to feed him because he will eat a little when I put him directly on the food. I had someone watch him when I was in Florida and they were feeding him, but he seems to not have eaten much at all for the entire week. He is very skinny. The last two days since I got back; he has been eating beans, rice, and grains, but not the regular dry stuff so much. He is about 1 1/2 years old, but he probably has some developmental abnormalities so he might not live as long as an average hammie. I am going to be trying to get him into the vet in the next few days but my work schedule is crazy. He has been munching on some goldenfeast today, so maybe I will see if he starts eating normally again. He is an odd little duck. Most hamsters try to eat anything you put in front of them.
