Hey all and thanks so much for having us here!! We have 2 budgies and 2 kakarikis and birds are the best!! We love them to the moon and back.
One of our kakarikis seems to have some strange foot problem
Mostly at night she seems to be tapping a lot, like repositioning herself. Sometimes she is shaking the foot or nom-ing at it. Absolutely no visible wounds, no pests and she seems to be doing this since little. She is 4 months old and has been hand raised together with her sister. They eat dried fruit, vegetables, herbs, nuts and fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs. They are free roaming in a bird safe house and sleep in cages at night.
Wondering if anyone encountered this or would have any idea what's up? We don't really have avian vets here but have asked a few online ones
