My budgie is a baby and he seems to be chewing a lot on his leg band. Is this normal?

I would probably get the leg band removed by a vet, since they can get caught on things and irritate your birds leg.

Yes, I am for it too.
A simple 15 mins procedure to have my cockatiel's leg band removed.

Thank you both. I spoke with the office and asked if they can include the band removal at his appointment. Thanks for the advice
