Hi we just moved houses and she had started to pluck her feathers about 8 feathers in a 5 minute period when I was not distracting her. I have got her to slow down and put some of the energy into toys but when preening still plucks 1 every 20 minutes or so. She likes to pluck chest under wings back and too of wings and sometimes bites feet. Today i was looking and looks she has a lot of pin feathers close together up and down her back. Is this amount normal?

I would say if you just moved and she never did it before it's behavioral. Try giving her lots of ner veggies and toys to keep her busy. Play with her lots, and if that doesn't help you may have to try a bird cone.
I'm sorry she's plucking that's a hard habit to manage. It's good there's pin feathers though, just make sure she doesn't pull a blood feather.

It's normal to have pins and regrow if they were plucked out . It's also molting time here with my quakers, feathers like snow in their cages ! But they aren't plucking.

Food and food foraging is my go to for distraction.

Hopefully everything starts to calm down for you guys
