I made some zucchini for the birds today but it tastes bitter so I'm not going to give that to them.
They will just get their usual mixed veggies.

Good thing you tasted it first!
I ate a piece. It's just slightly bitter. It might be OK with butter and pepper but not for the birds. Have you ever cooked zucchini and it has had a bitter taste to it?

i use it in raw skewers daily but don’t taste it. So I don’t know

Knowing my birds they probably wouldn't have eaten it anyway. I've tried it in the past and no one would touch it. I added some quinoa to their mixed veggies. A few of them will eat that but the rest just spit it out or toss it out of their bowls.

Syringe food for a week or so. Against company advice I repackaged the pellets because the bag doesn’t seal well. I keep stuffing more and more dry foods in the fridge. These Rubbermaid brilliance containers are awesome!
