Today's new food- cherry! Don't worry, I pitted it for her . She seems to like it!

Here's Jade's chop today! Her regular chop (kale, Swiss chard, carrots, broccoli, green beans and peas plus maybe a couple of things I'm forgetting), plus cherry, blackberry, blackberry, quinoa and a dash of cinnamon!

I'm still amazed at what a good eater she is. Maybe because you got her young? Our guys each came with their own bad habits. Luv Bug's owner even gave her a small saucer of coffee each morning.

Could be, when I got Jade she was only 3 or so months old. She was weaned onto pellets, and never really had a chance to become a seed junkie (although she knows exactly where I keep the sunflower seeds ). I've always tried to encourage a variety of things, so hopefully she will be open to different foods in the future.

It's a night and day difference from Chirp, who only ate his pellets and millet.

Today Jade tried watermelon! I offered a little piece but she was too scared to take a bite. So I smashed it up and drew it up into the syringe, and she liked it! Although I don't know if it was just because she likes the syringe, lol.
