I have another 2 lbs of sunflower seeds sitting in the vittles vault, so I figured I would try sprouting some for her! Jade likes them I think!

could you please share your sunflower seed sprouting technique? My bird loves them and I’ve never been able to make them look like yours. My roots turn black. What sprouter do you use? Please do share. I would love to make mine look like yours. Thanks!

I just used a regular mason jar, with the solid lid replaced with a paper towel. I soaked for about 14 hours or so, then rinsed and drained well every 12 hours.

I also use a mason jar for sprouting. I have a sprouting lid (you can find them on amazon etc) and works a charm

I sprout overnight, but I have to rinse more often than Bee because of the heat here.
