Marie, the vet had so much extra money from all my visits this summer, that she bought a house as an investment and rented it out to my visiting tech. This place is too far away for her to swing by anymore.....
but the birds are getting plenty of socialization from family

A lot of men don't view birds as a 'man's' animal companion or pet. Not saying that's an issue here only that I've heard this way too many times, even from my own brother. Some men who like birds can still be reluctant to admit it because of this sterotype.

AJ I'm pretty sure there are Apple sized hoops (or you could build one easily since one chomp won't kill it)

Our green cheek loves interactive games. I know you could get Apple to do some things, esp. once you learn his favorite treat.

AJ, just use a smaller ball - you can make your own 'hoop' with some SS wire

or use a plastic cup and an Apple sized wiffle ball

okay, good going Saroj Glad to see you just about have your order in place.

I love the bank, I can't wait to read your review on that one. I also have the wooden one like you already have, I need to bring it out of retirement and see how it goes over now. The two above, that is a hard call. #1 I like because it is all right in a line, no reaching over but it looks like the pieces are smaller and the pieces have to fit shape, not shape and color. #2 is probably easier but big scooter is a smart cookie.

I'd say go for one, it's probably harder but he'll love the challenge.
