Thank you so much, everyone! The collective knowledge here is amazing, truly! Sometimes I read a thread and think "huh, really! I did not know that!" And then I feel really ignorant. And more ignorant for any response *I* made on the thread or a different thread of a related topic. But you know, I listen, learn, and grow!

What's so nice about this forum is there is always someone who's seen your problem themselves.
Someone is always on.
People will tag those that they know can help.
I'll see posters come on from years ago....
Just saw one from 2011 that posts infrequently, but still knows where to come to talk birds.

I really enjoy it here and I'm glad you do to. About a year ago I was a member of a tortoise forum, and it was so boring and lifeless, I lasted less than a week. I have to say, I thought my experience here was going to be similar.
