Yesterday Eric and i worked a 10 hour shift. Now before i leave for work, i always uncover and check on my birds. Normal routine.
Now you know how ceiling fans have those chains that hang from them so you can click the fan/lights on and off? Some have like a clasp in the middle of the chain so you can take the bottom half off? Well i walk in to find both bottom parts of the chain on the floor, and the clasps are completely missing.
So now im totally stumped. I KNOW it wasnt like that this morning. Lovies are locked in, Jadens locked in. The tiels never go on the fan, Riley is in Jadens cage.. lol, and the quakers cant fly high enough to get on there.
So i call in Eric and im like..how the heck does this happen? He tells me "The only ones that ever go on that fan are you lovebirds". So i said true..but theyre locked in.
I go over to their cage to investigate..and you know what i find? The door for their water dish is a CRACK open. Im thinking no way..could they have gotten out and gotten back in??
On the bottom of their cage..what do i find???? BOTH clasps!!!! Freaking brats lol. I would have NEVER knew it was them if they didnt leave the evidence behind.
They really got me too. For a good half hour i really thought i was going insane!

The little brats! I bet they had a great time! I love how they brought the clasps back to the comfort of their cage.
