Ok so I still want him to step up but here are my problems:
He hates the dowel more than my hand. He's still a little scared of my hand but he's somewhat fine with it, as long as theres millet haha
He doesn't fall for luring. He is a less risk taking bird, so I think I have a different approach.
Feed him millet bits from my palm until I boop his feet. Then, step up? Obviously this would be slow and gardual, just wondering if this is a good idea.
