I noticed Jackson's chest suddenly become fluffy overnight the other day. I asked around and most people say it's molting and a couple say it plucking. There IS pin feathers. I noticed a couple of minutes ago his legs are bare and show pink. Also this morning his wings were untouched by this raggedy soft feather stuff, but I noticed a patch a couple minutes ago. The breeder said it was probably molting with the pin feathers, but the bald legs make me nervous.

The first pic is when I just noticed it (Jan 14) and the next are as it got worse (Jan 17 then today)

When you start seeing bare skin or fluffy down (I call it their pajamas  ) then it's unfortunately plucking or other feather destructive behavior. Molting you'll see pin feathers and a general "disheveled" look but skin and down is still covered.

You need to take him to your avian vet to check out any physical problems that are causing it ASAP
