Is there any alternative to using bleach to disinfect natural wood for perches?

Hi, I'm wondering if there is any safe alternative to using bleach to disinfect natural wood for perches?

F10 is my preference, but white vinegar and letting it sit in the sun or bake it in the oven works too

I put mine in the tub and poured boiling water over it, then let it soak in the boiling hot water. (I know 100%) no pesticides were used on the tree.)
