I’m making some perches at home, and I found a nice branch on a Saskatoon bush. I was looking at lists of safe and toxic woods but it wasn’t on any. Does anyone know if I can use it?

Sometimes looking for the other common names or scientific name helps:

Amelanchier alnifolia, Saskatoon berry, Pacific serviceberry, western serviceberry, alder-leaf shadbush, dwarf shadbush, chuckley pear, or western juneberry

However in this instance I was unable to say one way or another if it is safe. It is in the rose family, and it does have edible fruit, but I would probably avoid until you can confirm one way or another.
