Saw an old thread on here confirming jicama was safe, but it didn’t specify if it could be offered raw. Hopefully someone knows!

Jicama is a starchy root vegetable loaded with vitamins, protein, complex carbohydrates, potassium, dietary fiber, and various nutrients. Hence, parrots can eat Jicama safely, and at the same time, gain all the benefits that come with it.

@Mizzely might know if it’s safe to feed raw.

The Jicama plant’s leaves, stems, seeds, and flowers are all toxic, only the tuber is safe. But I can't find anything saying it has to be cooked; seems most places say raw is fine.
