Also don’t mind the ruffled feathers, she doesn’t really like it when I have my phone out and pointed at her lol.
Also also, this is my first time using this so I don’t know if It’s ok to post this here or if I should post this somewhere else more specific.

Welcome to AA I don’t know about the beak but it doesn’t look normal. Hopefully some more experienced members will see this soon.

Welcome to the Avenue:)

Her beak does look a little odd so hopefully someone who knows a bit more will be along shortly to give you some advice or information.

What did your vet say about her beak looking like that?

:hello1: and :welcomeavenue: Nordic Tuna! Looks normal to me too. The upper tip looks like it has peeled/broken off - either through wear or maybe an accident. My Red-lored Amazon's beak tends to do the same. It will grow back to look more "normal". Beaks tend to grow out and down towards the tip so the upper surface and tip are the oldest.

Looks normal to me. The top layer may slough off eventually if it's truly separate, or you could have the vet file it :)

Cheddars beak looks like that, I just had him groomed and they polished his beak down a bit to make it look better. Never has slowed him down.

But I agree if you're worried ask your vet.

Zephyr also went through a time when his beak looked similar. Gradually it’s gotten worn and filed down to look better. He’s not a big chewer though .. so that doesn’t help.

(Sorry after picture isn’t better it’s my most recent one :p )
