Should I trim my birds beak, there are photos of him above. He is a Male cockatiel; roughly 5 months old. He has a cuttlebone but not a mineral block.

His beak looks fine, and he’s so cute! Most cockatiels never need their beak trimmed. Just make sure he has different types of toys and perches to gnaw on.

My rescue Tiel would get an overgrown beak in the beginning because he didn’t know how to wear it down and I can assure you her beak looks okayThis was Tiki badly needing a trim for reference:
I waited as long as I could as sometimes he would suddenly get active and start chewing and wear it down in a day or two
