Having problems the past couple of days.
Super slow loading threads and forums and when reading a thread and trying to go to next page, it throws me back into forums list.
I was trying to open a thread today and it froze.
3rd time in today and really slow to load anything.

Was super slow earlier, I even had a couple of timeouts waiting for threads to load. Seems okay right now.

I got the 503 message just 20 mins ago or so.

The site is being updated. It could be like this on and off until the update is complete I think.
There was a message posted in a prev. thread, I´ll see if I can fish it out

The forum is going to be going through a series of updates in the next few months. Some of these changes are rather large so everyone is going to have to bare with us.

Posting forum troubles is perfectly acceptable but we are going to ask that they are contained to one main issue thread so we can all be on the same page.

There have been some other issues lately that are not actually part of the updates.
I am wondering if screenshots would be of help for Sarah but other than that I am not really going to be of any help I am sorry.
I have had a few slower loading pages over the last few hours but nothing being timed out or doing weird stuff thank goodness......I always think it is something I am doing wrong lol.

I restarted my computer and came in to the site but didn't sign in.
I clicked on a thread, and as soon as I clicked to go to next page it threw me out (again) to the forums.
Must be a glitch on my part if nobody else is experiencing this. It is really frustrating.

These are different errors to the ones in that thread. These are simple timeouts rather than the 'server.unavailable' the thread refers to - boy am I glad they've gone. We're back in the slow lane it seems.

I understand, however @Zara posted that she saw a 503 error.

The original 503 error was for the error page which is supposed to be served by the host when the site's server is down. This timeout is for the actual site.
503=Service Unavailable. All I've been seeing is timeouts sent by the server so that is actually fine. Running updates explains that away.

Yes I did, however I missed the thread requesting screenshots of any 503 messages. I just saw it after this thread. And everything has been fine for me since, I will remember if I get another to screenshot it

We are running 3 live boards at the moment and one is getting lots of updates as we find issues. Once we upgrade this board our server needs a good cleanup and clean out. It's extremely cluttered and needs some attention. After those processes are completed it is our hope that issues will be resolved. If we continue to have trouble we will be forced to move to a new server but it is our hope that our resolutions will do the trick.
