Could it be this?

"necrosis of beak"

It doesn't sound good. It looks like it could be, a line down the left side if the beak, as well as a little lump on the beak. I haven't noticed, so I am thinking it is new?

@Ripshod

Edit...

Here is a very zoomed in image of her beak the day she came home

Have you been googling again? Tut, tut!!
Don't be thinking necrosis, this isn't that. Could the lump simply be something stuck to the surface? Or a knock (though I'd expect a ding rather than a lump)? Also beaks are seldom perfect.
The line you see is likely from beak grinding. It's much like napping flint, it's very hard to get a perfect edge. Has she been biting or hanging from the cage bars?

Ok, so I should worry about the dark line?

I was thinking that, but I can't get close enough to try to clean it at the moment. It is the same colour as the bit around the base of the beak, so it is probably the same thing

No, I wouldn't worry about that unless you notice it getting worse. It's likely just food caught on the rough edge where the beak has flaked. Monitor, not worry.
Ok, great.

Thank you so much!

This is a really good example of "googled a headache and found out I had a brain tumor!"

Glad it's resolved.
