Is Frankie Pied?

Well now that lil Frankie is moulting he is releasing his beautiful feathers and welcoming new ones.....!!
But, the other day I noticed a new tail feather that looks a little bit different....
It has yellow on the tip and Im starting to wonder if he is pied?
Here is the picture: what are your thoughts?

Now I have to share Frankies NEW favourt spot to chill...it's just adorable!

I have been browsing how to tell if a Sun is Pied, I haven't found much information at all (only photos), but it is said that “usually pied means completely yellow with little to no green at all”

Yeah! The tip of his tail looks like that! And instead of green, the blue dominates a bit more..Thanks everyone!

That's a heavy pied. In order to be a visual pied. One flight or tail feather MUST be a completely clear (all yellow or white) No green or blue. Frankie looks to be a beautiful cozy sun conure!

Well, Nicky has 2 tail feathers like that, the 2nd from the end on each side. I don't think it's unusual, as I've seen it often. But YOUR fid is adorable!

I don't know whether he is pied but he is CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!


Archy used to do that when he was little with a super cozy robe I had, but somehow made his was into one of the seams, found a hole and got caught between two pieces of fabric. Sigh. He ended up being fine, but he won't go inside a sleeve anymore!
